Having earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Baylor University in 1974, Mr. Brian also received his L.L.M. in Taxation from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1975. He served as a Council member to the Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Section, State Bar of Texas, from 1999-2002, is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, and is a past president and executive committee member of the Amarillo Area Bar Association. In 2014, Mr. Brian was the recipient of the Baylor Lawyer of the Year Award.
Mr. Brian’s community involvement, past and present, includes Panhandle Baptist Foundation, Baptist University of the Americas, Baylor University, Panhandle-Plains Historical Society, Amarillo Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, Amarillo Chamber of Commerce, Baptist St. Anthony’s Foundation, Samaritan Pastoral Counseling Center, and the Texas Baptist Missions Foundation.
